The plans have been approved and no we have not been slacking off on our posts. It really has taking us this long to get the plans from the Architect and to get them approved by the HOA. Everything moves very slowly in Mexico. Which part of the reason we love it there. We enjoy the no hurry, worry lifestyle.
But I digress, so far there has been a minimal amount of problems. The biggest problem, was the Architects lack of English language speaking skills along with our lack of Spanish language speaking skills. Thank goodness our builder is fluent in both languages. After a small misunderstanding, a quick trip down and mo money, we were able to straighten out the problem. The other big scare, was the HOA’s problem with the survey. We had that double checked and it was done correctly, so they did finally approve the plans.. whew.
We will be headed down in 3 to 4 weeks to check the progress, to pick up receipts, and drink mas tequila. After we recover, we will post construction photos and a breakdown of costs.
